Top Tips For The NEC Shows
Tip Number 1:
When you park your car in one of the many car parks, take a photo of your car park number on your phone. When you leave the show later it will be easier for you to remember & find what car park you parked in. The NEC is a big place.
Tip Number 2:
Just outside each hall is the cloakroom drop-off point, where you can pay £1 to leave your coat. Saves you from carrying your coat around the show. They only accept credit cards and make sure you check the closing times.
Just don't forget to pick it up on the way out.
Tip Number 3:
There is a shop & drop desk for you to leave your bags. If you have purchased anything heavy you can simply drive from one of the car parks to the vehicle exit door behind the Shop & Drop area to collect your items. Or if you buy something big, ask the stall holder if you can pick it up later. Just don't forget to pick up your items when you leave.
Tip Number 4:
There is plenty of seating areas around the show, for you to rest your legs and feet from all that walking. But it gets busy around lunchtime, so good idea to get a seat & table early or later in the day.
Tip Number 5:
If you are a member of the Camping & Caravan Club make sure you take your membership cards with you. Because if you go to their stand at the show, you can get a free cup of tea or coffee just by showing your membership card. Plus you get a sit down.
That's the top tips to make your visit to one of the shows a little bit more enjoyable.
And remember... Have fun.
