Things To Take

This blog is dedicated to the five essential items we take on our camping trips. Things that we take with us on holidays every year to make the journey and stay a little bit smoother. Regardless of whether you own a campervan, motorhome, caravan, or even a tent, we hope you will find this list helpful and one or all of the items may end up on your list and accompany you on your next camping trip.

What essential items do you pack for your camping trips? Drop a comment below and let us know. One of your items may end up on our next adventure.

Ridge Monkey

Our first item has got to be the Ridge Monkey. We couldn't go out in our campervan without this. So if you have one, you know what we are talking about; if you don't have one, then you are missing out on this fantastic little product. It turns our campervan hob into an oven and we cook everything in it.

Described as a toasted sandwich maker online, but it does more than that. You can cook chicken, roasted vegetables, steak, homemade pizzas, omelettes, and even chips. I know of some people who have made from scratch, apple pies and chocolate brownies.

Airport Pump Hot & Cold Flask

Second item on our list is the Airport hot and cold drinks flask. I don't know why they call them that guess it's because they use them in airports. This flask will hold up to two litres of hot or cold water and it's got it's own pump. Just press the button on top and the water pours just like a tap. This is a great item for keeping water hot for long periods of time meaning no need to keep boiling the kettle.

Vango Awning

The third item on our list is the Vango Kilda AirBeam driveaway awning for our campervan. We always use it if we are staying longer on a campsite for more than one night. It inflates in minutes and doesn't take long to pitch. It's great to have a bit more room to sit in and it protects you from the rain or sun. The driveaway means it simply detaches and can remain freestanding, allowing us to driveway without packing away.  We like the two doors in the tunnel attachment to the camper, giving easy access to the vehicle without opening the main door at the front.

The Vango Kilda airbeam is exclusive to Go Outdoors.

Soft Bedding

Number four is a must for us. On all of our trips, we take a mattress topper, soft pillows, and a duvet. No sleeping bags in our campervan. We believe it makes us more comfortable and ensures a restful night's sleep.

Campervan

The last thing on our list which we can't go without.

Number five. Wine, beer, treats and our campervan.

I figure that awning is a biggie because one wants shade when camper vanning. Nice list of things to take here. Keep up the good blogging work.
