Top Tips - NEC Shows
Here are a few top tips to help your visit to one of the NEC Birmingham shows, whether it's the February or the October show. Hopefully, these tips will make you day just that little bit more enjoyable and easier to get around.
Tip Number 1:
when you park your car in one of the many car parks, take a photo of your car park number on your phone. When you leave the show later it will be easier for you to remember & find what car park you parked in. The NEC is a big place.
Tip Number 2:
Just outside each hall is the cloakroom drop off point, where you can pay £1 to leave your coat. Saves you carrying your coat around the show. They only accept credit cards and make sure you check the closing times.
Just don't forget to pick it up on the way out.
Tip Number 3:
There is a shop & drop desk for you to leave your bags. If you have purchased anything heavy you can simply drive from one of the car parks, to the vehicle exit door behind the Shop & Drop area to collect your items. Or if you buy something big, ask the stall holder if you can pick it up later. Just don't forget to pick your items when you leave.
Tip Number 4:
There is plenty of seating areas around the show, for you to rest those legs and feet from all that walking. But it gets busy around lunchtime, so good idea to get a seat & table early or later in the day.
That's the top tips to make your visit to one of the shows that little bit more enjoyable.
And remember... Have fun.
